So what should you consider?

Location: remember real estate’s golden rule of location, location, location
Finance: what is your budget and how you are going to pay for your new home, this part is so important that it’s actually a pillar of its own!
Physical characteristics: how big, how many bedrooms, do you need to renovate just to name a few...
Emotional aspect: while its important to think with your head not your heart, ultimately this is your home and you need to feel comfortable and confident that it will suit your lifestyle and how you want to live. Because if you don’t like your home its going to be very hard to be happy in your life

What strategies and tactics should you use to help you find your next home?

“Smell the asset”: if you don’t know the location well, you need to go and get to know it, see what the locals are like, immerse yourself in the lifestyle…
Picture your perfect home before you start the search:
  > What are your must have’s; versus
  > Your nice to have’s; and
  > Things that don’t really matter
Know the difference between your maximum budget versus your stretch budget
Bigger isn’t always better!
